DeWalt is a great brand.. not disappointed. I was looking for grinder that ran on the DeWalt Battery family. Was not disappointed. There are many good battery tools out there now but I started using DeWalt several years ago and have stuck with them mainly to keep the disparity down between the batteries as well as DeWalt delivers on performance every time. I have been slowly replacing corded tools as time and cost permit. This grinder was advertised at about half for what the the big box stores charge.

This grinder has good power & does not bogg down. It is light weight & it is good for those small grinding jobs & is not restricted by having a power cord. I have 3ah & 5ah battery & battery life is pretty decent. If you have alot of grinding of course the corded is a better option. An asset to have in your tool chest.

I didn't had a chance to work a lot with it as I just got it last week. But the day I received it I used flap sanding wheel to grind metal and I'm very please with the handling of the tool, confortable. Also the tool less release of wheel and the release of the guard. I would recommend the tool.

I have many DeWalt 20V products and many batteries as well. Buying tool only saves me money. This was a great deal and it works perfectly! It's nice to go out in remote areas and not have to drag along a corded product with a generator. I just bring the charger and plug it into my Chevy truck's 110 volt outlet to charge the batteries if needed. Awesome!
