I just got my new tripod in the mail and I was pleasantly surprised. The Tripod felt sturdy and well built and the carrying case it came with was heavy duty too. I really like the large ball adjustment for positioning the camera angle. Also the rotation adjustment felt smooth. I am looking forward to trying a panorama with it. Another feature I thought was neat was the ability to adjust the angle of each leg which would allow you to tilt the tripod entirely if you ever needed to. My last tripod was a bit flimsy and not tall enough, I wound up knocking it over while trying to make it taller and damaged my camera lens. This new tripod is tall enough for my vlogging needs and feels much more robust. I feel safe using this tripod now that I am upgrading to a better camera.

Pros: light, compact, stable with my camera (Nikon D5600) Cons: not easy to attach: sliding option of a plate is a bit rough. Also, found out that even if I tight all the possible things, after some shots and movements screws around the ball head becoming loose.

I film my son's high school athletic events and I need a good tripod that was within my budget and the jewel fit the bill perfectly. It is lightweight, compact and is of high quality! I couldn't find a better tripod at this price point and most that I did find were pricier and of lower quality. Top all of this off with lightning fast delivery and you have the ingredients for a great deal!! Thanks

Lightweight well-built tripod that I researched for my needs. Video reviews sold me on the tripod, along with the price which when discounted, beat a popular online retailer by at least $20. Shipment was fast and convenient.

You can tell from the moment you touch this tripod that it is NOT a $10 flimsy tripod job. I can't say that it is a movie crew quality tripod, but it is what I was looking for to hold up my Nikon DSLR D500 camera. When you pull the legs down, they are tight and smooth. The metal is thicker and more sturdy than the flimsy $10 stuff. The ball and socket tighten up for a perfect and snug fit. The side to side motion is smooth. I am not concern about my camera (which packs some weight) toppling to entire tripod over when it is attached. I could also spread out the legs of the tripod to provide a wider base of support, if I want to. I am really pleased with it. I believe it was worth the money I spent on it. My previous tripod that was sent to me in a bundle deal when I bought the camera immediately alarmed me due to how lightweight and flimsy it was. I was actually surprised that the company knowingly bundled such a flimsy tripod as part of the package with such a heavy camera. I use that flimsy tripod with our small digital camera, and it fits the bill for it... BUT NOT FOR A NIKON D500. This ball head camera tripod is definitely worth investing in. Read full review

I've used this for a few video shoots and so far it seems sturdy and well-made. There are a couple of caveats, though. Without a handle, panning (moving the camera side to side) is a bit tricky. The tripod has very fluid movement, but the small knob is difficult to hold comfortably. Also, the locks on the legs are plastic, and will probably be the things that break after repeated use. Most everything else on the tripod is aluminum, though. I like how it folds up into such a compact form, and the rugged included carrying case is a nice bonus.
