The front label has wear on the upper edge that reveals small bits of the white paper below and you can see light fingernail indentations on the label under angled light. The instructions have wrinkling and creasing, there is a small tear on the front cover at the upper edge near the middle.

An alien presence is ravaging your planet and it's up to you the proverbial lone pilot to stop it. The best feature of Aleste is the multitude of weapons power-ups you can grab. All of the classic power-ups can be found in this single shooter, from the wave gun to the giant pulsing energy ball in front of your nosecone. Each power-up is numbered, so you can easily tell what you are about to pick up. This is extremely useful because snagging multiples of the same power-up increases its potency. In addition to these major power-ups, you must also keep collecting "P" capsules that boost the strength and width of your regular weapon.This limited edition US release (which saw a commercial released as Aleste in Japan) was only available via mail-in order.
