I bought this game expecting it to be the same as the previous iteration, Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Needless to say, I thought wrong. It's completely different and has blown me away. Anyways, here's the review. First, the graphics. Crisp, clean, runs at 1080p and 60FPS. A definite improvement from last generation Smash game. Every character and map in the game is unique and looks different, and it's pretty obvious that a lot of thought was put into the game. Some textures on the map look bad but that's because they've been imported from previous games and want to remain faithful to their respective styles. Second, the gameplay. Fast, whack-your-friends action. Fun, exhilarating, and extremely satisfying when you K.O. someone. There's a lot of characters to choose from and they're all unique in gameplay as they are in appearance. Also a lot of game modes to choose from and options are very flexible. HIGH RE-PLAYABILITY! One of the best games Wii U has to offer, and we all know there aren't many good ones for it. Not the best Smash Bros. Game but not really a bad one either. The biggest bummer is the lack of any adventure mode, along with the exclusion of unlocking characters and stages. To me that was half the fun in previous games.

I've played hundreds of hours of the Smash Bros series. I love all the Smash Bros games. I must admit, the Wii U version is my favorite. Great graphics, excellent balance, and fun stages make for very fun experience. Highly recommend.

This game is Lit, The graphics were fantastic and the game play is very fun, One of the best smash bros games out of the all the other ones. Contains a very reasonable and appropriate rating (Everyone of ages 10 and up), though the disc is quite fragile and occasional rinses can be required, but it always works Great!
