A big heavy brass sustain block to upgrade Floyd Rose style trems at a lower price than most.
This is a big heavy brass sustain block that fits the larger sized mounted screws used on some Floyd Rose and other licensed tremolos. I'm looking forward to hearing some improvement over the little wimpy zinc alloy block it will be replacing. They got it here quickly too.

Floyd rose big brass block
My Fender Strat was never great sounding ,it had all great parts throughout Warmoth , Fender Custom shop Seymour Duncan . Not a bad sounding guitar but ever my first choice . When I added the brass block to the guitar I was expecting , hoping for better sound , well that was an understatement . Fantastic ! I highly recommend this upgrade .

more sustain, and a better tone
I bought two of these blocks for a replacement for my EVH Wolfgang specials, and they are so much better. The original blocks are small, and made of a piece of cast steel, and pale in comparison to these. I recommend installing one of these blocks as one of the first upgrades to your Floyd Rose equipped guitar.

One of the best mods you can do for the price.
Put one on my Jackson JS32T Rhoads and had an increase in sustain and the guitar just sounded bigger. Some of the 80's Floyd guitars came stock with the bigger brass block and some agree, sounded better. Highly recommend this mod.

Great tone!
Replaced my brothers little zinc alloy sustain block that came with his LTD licensed tremolo with this block to improve the tone. I recommend doing this with any licensed or special Floyd Rose trem's that have those cheap little zinc blocks on them. These brass blocks really improve the tone and are worth the $30.00.

Item is a direct swap out for FR standard block. Having said that, a point to note is body routing clearance on some guitars requires enlarging to obtain floating and full performance/ travel. This may be un- palatable to some guitar owners.

This little block will bring back a lot of the lost sustain that comes from having a floyd rose guitar. Highly recommend it if you feel like the tone is too "thin" sounding. Night and day difference after installation.
