eBay purchase, vintage Coleman lantern, came with a shattered globe. To keep the lantern historically correct, I purchased a vintage globe. I could have just as easily gotten a new globe made in China for Coleman. They are very similar. However the old one says MADE IN USA in red lettering, but it also says replacement globe on it, so what's the point? Could have saved money with a new replacement globe, rather than a NOS vintage globe.

Although it works, it's not really a Coleman product. They're being made in China now and are not the quality that Coleman used to be. I've heard of instances that the glass will break with continual use especially if the mantle gets a hole in it.

Exact drop-in fit for my Coleman 220 and 290 liquid fuel lanterns. Perfect! It's important to have a spare globe, extra fuel and mantles on hand for these lighting workhorses in case of emergencies.

Great value. I ordered the wrong one so it didn't fit my lantern but it's still a good value.
