We run a dairy goat farm and have tried many brands of fly ribbons. Of them all, these are the best because they are rarely defective. Many of the cheapo brands have frequent defects that make them a real pain to use: The little pull tab comes off in your hands as you start to unwind the fly paper, the paper tears as you unwind it, the tube (which is meant to act as a counterweight in wind) falls off at the end of your unwinding, and etc. Not so with the Raid fly ribbons.

I chose this brand because I had a bad experience with a cheap chinese fly strip. (it tore up as i tried to pull it from the tube) The Raid fly strip does exactly what it is supposed to do. It is sticky. It catches flies. And it doesn't tear when you pull it from the tube.
