Awesome little budget EDC pocket knife
This is a nice addition to my rotation of EDC pocket knives. Small but big in its own way. Can be used as a last line of defense if you know what you are doing. If you had to decided between this and a Spyderco Dragonfly then in my opinion get the Dragonfly. But if you are on a budget like all most of us then this is definitely a cheaper option and you get a decent folder. Pros: -Solid lock up -Grippy G10 scales -Came super sharp and it’s easy to sharpen back hair popping sharp. -Blade is centered and no wobble in either direction. -Reversible clip -Great to use in a city where legal blade length is restricted -Non threatening to sheeple. -Cheap and easily replaced Cons: -Almost feels like a 3 finger pocket knife. I wear large gloves. Putting a small paracord lanyard on it seemed to help. -Hate the pocket clip being so chromed out. It’s like a beacon and I wish it was like a duller gray. Also I wish it came with deep carry clip, but fortunately you get one for it. -I really don’t like the fact the edge comes all the way up to finger choil. One slip and slice. Definitely an awesome knife for the money you pay for it and I would recommend it to anyone. Easy to just drop in your pocket and go. SpyderCo Ambitious
I have carried many knives over decades. I have several spyderco knives, but this one is the king of every day carry. Open with one hand, close with one hand. It's inexpensive, but works well. The 8cr13MoV Stainless Steel is super easy to sharpen/hone and holds an edge for a long time. I absolutely love this knife, its in my pocket as I type this.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great little blade for the price..
I was never a big Spyderco guy, but I decided to give this little frame a chance, because of its price point. Wow, what a great knife! Rugged, sharp, fits easy in the pocket. Great working knife. Solid, smooth and does exactly what I want!
I was looking for an every day carry knife that would not upset any cop that noticed it; you can't flip it open, and the blade is short enough that, I believe, you can even carry it on Canadian airlines now. (New ruling, maximum 6cm blade). However, it is still easy to open and close with one hand, fits my hand well and is razor sharp right out of the box. Smooth action, solid construction. The Spyderco Ambitious knife is a great small knife for small chores. The Spyderco Ambitious is a leaf shaped knife with a comfortable grip for a small knife. This knife is not too expensive at all. Awesome knife for the price
I love spyderco knifes, and this little guy is no different, for the price you get an well built knife that comes super sharp at delivery. It's made in china but the steel is still respectable considering the cost of the knife. It has a pretty good "feel" when you flick the blade open and it is small enough to carry around all day. Good Budget EDC Knife
Nice edc knife for work(Gov't) which restricts max blade length of 2.5". Out of the box the blade is very sharp. The action is quite stiff and may need to be broken in after a period of daily use or modified to your liking. Before, I everyday carried a Spyderco PM2 so I wanted a knife with a handle close to a PM2 as I like to have a nice solid purchase on the handle and the Ambitious was the closest I've found. All other knives i've came across that had a max blade length of 2.5" the handles were just too small for my liking and felt like the knife would slip through my hands.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
