I've got an outstanding one from the 70's and a recent new one from China and now this one. I threw the cheap-o Chinese one away. The grippers under the holes were terrible. Kept losing contact and burning out my chips. This 3M version is comparable to my old one for excellent quality. My only caveat is that the power bus holes spaced like the newer Chinese boards. Because of that you cannot mount one of those nifty double power bus regulator units like on the cheap Chinese boards. There is a work-around but it covers up a bunch of holes. Otherwise I am happy with it.

These are great prototyping breadboards. And my past experience is that the contacts simply last longer than other brands. 3M gets it right. Have looked at contacts under a microscope, after considerable use, and they hold up well.

Much better than the one I have. Jumper wires wouldn’t stay in on my other board. The 3M board works much better. Gene
