Too nice to put outside.
This clock is so nice, I almost hate to put it outside. It is a very looking nice piece, very functional at a glance. Very easy on the eyes as well to be able to see it out from outside in the garden. A great deal indeed.

Outdoor Clock doesn't work in the sun
This is a nice looking clock and it works great indoors, but as soon as we put it outside it starts losing time. It was initially installed in a location where it got a lot of sun, but when it didn't work well there, I moved it to a spot where it only gets a couple hours of early morning sunlight, but it still loses time. I would NOT recommend it for outdoor use.

In the photo, the second hand extends to the edge of the chapter ring. The second hand in the clock that I received is short by 1½ inches. 10 inch clock face.
