This switch is wonderful. If your house ...was not wired for a ceiling fan, this can be installed to run the lights and fan from a single wall box. Dimmer works best with incandescent bulbs however it will work with LED, you just don't get the dimming range. I bought one for each bedroom and now have light and fan control I can easily reach.

When you have only 3 ...wires, but really need 4, so you can separately control your ceiling fan and its light, this thing is the answer! It works great.
