When it comes to a transmission that costs several thousand dollars, I felt it was best to stick with OEM fluid even though it costs more than the aftermarket ones that claim they will work with Subaru CVTs. I read too many stories of people using an aftermarket oil that then had problems with noise or slipping. The price I got here was only a little cheaper than the dealer but it was delivered right to my door.
