This laptop has all the features of the higher tier models. While adequate for most applications, the processor speed and included memory qualifies it to be "entry level". The textured top cover gives a nice grip feeling when carrying by hand and turns out to be a practical solution for reducing fingerprint smudges and the sight of slight scuffs. The large touchpad is decently responsive and the standard size keyboard is comfortable to type. The HDMI and USB 3.0 ports are nice modern features. The touchscreen LCD display is a nice feature or optimal use of Windows 8 and Windows 10. The laptop weight is not bad for carrying around in a case of backpack. Memory can be easily expanded and the standard hard drive can be upgraded to a SSD to make this a blazing fast laptop for a minimal cost.
