This is a nice reliable heavy piece of kit. With Transformers, heavy is good. Turning it on makes a satisfying "Clunk" noise, like that scene in "Forbidden Planet" when they turn on the lasers to kill the Monsters from the Id. It's just as effective too, my Id is clean of Monsters! Have used it to run US and Japanese 8 bit PCs in Oz, and it works well. It does make a buzzing sound from time to time, but moving the device seems to fix it. The Buzz could be a Monsters from the Id detector.
