It's longer to work with older money, which is fine, as it gives a nice frame to the bills. I got the uber thin sleeves from Hobby Lobby (also seen at the bookstores), which work for me as with trading cards: use the thin ones first, THEN, use the thicker plastic to hold them (these holders). These are the rigid holders for sure. Added protection for your collectors currency or other documents of this size. These are the ones I wanted and the ones I will buy again. You can display, pass them around for viewing without a lot of flexing of the item in the holder and have hands directly in contact with your collectible.
