I needed the TD meter to confirm my reverse osmosis , and the PH meter to test solar heat transfer glycol and see if it had been fried. The PH meter needs calibration to be accurate and I have not tried that, instead relying on testing PH of our well water as a 'standard' so I could measure plus or minus one unit well enough to know the glycol was still young. with PH around 8 diluted with our slightly basic well water while acidified it would drop to under 5. Can't comment on the qualtity until I need to use it again in a year, but for the price I can buy a new one if necessary.
