Packaged new from Subaru, but probably neglect on my end. Product looks perfect just not for my car. May be a part number difference, I went by product title. Learn from me and don’t do what I did and just buy bc it says it fits my year. Cross reference the part numbers and check. My ball joint has a conical fit to the LCA. This is a traditional pass through.

Not genuine Subaru. Made in China fake. I took the part to Docklands Subaru in Melbourne, and the service mechanic said he was highly doubtful it is genuine. I have not fitted the part...and it may well turn out to be of serviceable quality...but it is NOT genuine Subaru.

OEM so there is no doubt. I tried to use M____ ball joints as they were supposed to be a sturdy build. The boots failed before a year. I had these installed because the one thing you can get from the authorized parts are decent lifespan. My ride is back to factory again. Price was great for these genuine parts.

Genuine Subaru OEM Joint!...just replaced the cheaper AC Delco joints (installed 1 year 11 months ago), the rubber holding the grease had completely rotted out (no road salt). Great price on Subaru parts.

Not as thick as the original, the old one the stem is tapered form the dust cup to the threads. The new one is only tapered a little bit, then straight shank all the way to the end. Surely not as strong as the original !
