The songs on Spirit reflect profound questions about the modern world and the state of humanity. The first single is vintage Depeche Mode, with percolating electronics and a dramatic chorus: "Where's the Revolution"; that joins "Going Backwards," "The Worst Crime," "Poison Heart," "Scum," "So Much Love," "Fail" and more.
