this winters aches and hurts have been severe which can be expected as i turn 76, so i remembered how rice wine served in the Japanese style (at about the temperature of hot tea }, serves to move the warmth to spots that hurt. i make wine every winter from wild grapes and blackberries and plums that grow , and i have managed to get my grape wine to the place where its close to the home made wines brought over by our Italian neighbors when i was a boy. The last rice wine i made was over fifty years ago and a good friend who had been in the army in Japan and various parts of the orient said that the stuff i made then was the equal of any rot gut he had tasted in his prowls of the back streets there. So this year i am trying to improve it to the place where it might attain a certain 'genny say qua', as we say in oklahoma. this went to work on the hot water and steeped rise and sure enough it fermented it in about sixty hours. i will be aging it ...if i can find something that it doesnt dieolve for a full month, then sampling it and seeing if i can reclaim its solar healing for my tummy.Read full review
