You expect quality when you buy Yamaha components and the YAS109 does not disappoint. A wide variety of preset sound modes with subs built in so from movies, streaming video or Bluetooth music it checks out. Now saying that it won't fill a big room but in an apartment setting or in the basement cardio studio where I use mine it's very well suited. With a functional and intuitive remote, Alexa built in and TV ARC setup is as easy as it gets. I bought mine from the Outlet store as an open box for $200, a steal at that price point.
Overall good, but remote does not always pick up the signal. Nice options on the remote and it fits on top of a narrow space and it not too tall. That was the main purpose of buying this unit. Works well for a small bedroom 55" LED TV.
We bought this for an upgrade to the TV sound so we could watch TV late at night in our apartment. It had great sound quality l, with clear voice at night. But rocks when you crank up the subwoofers during the day. Highy recommend.
