    impressed

I opened this and tried a few, hard to review if i didnt. Ive made 3 meals too see if i wanted to buy again . It was very decent food, i was worried if it was edible (pepper doesn't hurt) id say they're right... great for camping, emergencies and every day life. Add water, cook for 10-15 minutes, and its decent...healthier than chef boyardee and shelf life is crazy. Im not worried about zombies or apocalypse, but camping ? this is great...add water and heat. I wanted to review this on the shear fact..that i made it and ate it. it's good.. not just something to choke down... the creamy chicken and rice is excellent, my fav ( you sell me the recipe?) never hurts to have a pot, some water and portable propane burner , and a few of these in the trunk if you travel ...in the middle of nowhere. thats why i tried them out, just in case im stranded. But i was impressed...tastes great and shelflife is ridiculous...(other 2 i had was Italio Marinaro and Creamy Potato Soup, both very tasty,,i tried em straight all 3, not shabby...add pepper and some cheese and its great (i didnt try their cheese sauce,i used fresh) but its beyond edible, it was all enjoyable. :)

    went with safe, nutritious, affordable

The purchase of an emergency food supply is hard to rate for Ebay's survey I just realized, because I'm saving it for "an emergency" LOL, so that is a good question "Is it of good quality?" I'll have to break the seal on the bucket that is strong quality, then try one to see if the meal tastes and looks as good as it it does in the picture, but way I figured it, in an "emergency" it won't have to taste or look good, as long as it's safe, provides necessary nutrition, affordable. I admit that read many reviews on it and that people were satisfied and I just took their word for it providing those 3 qualities, but I would buy a few varieties from producers in case of extended emergencies.

  • Emergency food because you never know...

Ok, not everyone thinks ahead. Not everyone thinks they need an emergency kit. They're wrong. You are responsible for YOU and YOUR FAMILY. This kit is an easy way to ensure a short term food source, or augmentation to your primary food source, for emergencies. It is also great for long term remote camping or backpacking if you remove them from the bucket obviously. All you need is clean water and a stove to heat it.

  • Good to have with a long shelf life

This is good to have when the going gets tough. Long shelf life to so you can store it up for disaster or food storage. Survivalist believes in keeping a supply for just in case. Oh and the food is easy to fix and taste great!

  • survival food

I bought this bucket of survival food for my 12 year old grandson who likes to play survival games with his friends . I also got him a army type mess kit and a swiss army knife with the fork and spoon blades to go with it .

  • Not Sure Yet?

I purchased the Emergency Food Supply for the exact purpose that its title says: an Emergency. Thank God that has not occurred yet but I do feel prepared, along with some other things I've done, in case an Emergency does occur. EVERYONE Needs to be Prepared for such situations. I am assuming that is stays good until I need it, that it tastes good, is of good quality, and that it was a good value. I sincerely hope I never have to find out.

  • Yup

I've bought several Augason Farm products and will continue to do so in the future. I have several guns and thousands of rounds of ammunition, as well as fresh water in bulk storage. With all the things that can happen to our society, I have no doubt that even a moderate catastrophe would cause societal mayhem and I want to be ready for it. I have razor wire, water, food, guns and ammunition to keep my family safe if things turn bad. I look at buying survival food in the same way I look at investing in my 401K accounts. It's all for the future.

  • Wonderful product

I was surprised at how delicious the food is! All that's needed for preparation is water. Not only that, the price is reasonable, shelf life is 25 years, and I got a very handy all-purpose pail on top of it all. Having one or more of these tucked away gives me extra peace of mind.

  • We bought a second one.

We had to break open our first bucket last year during a hurricane. The food was a pleasant surprise. Tasty, easy to fix, and filling.

  • It's ok not what i expected but still good

This is a great family pack however there is not 92 individual meals in it you will have to divide it and kit it yourself but amazing cheese mac and pudding and other good stuff not a bad bucket either just very large kitting instead of freeze dried packs you can rehydrate
