I live in a small rural town where Halva is not available, I was raised on the stuff in Calif! After purchasing online a well known Halva product, I just wasn't satisfied with the flavor or texture. I decided to buy this brand out of desperation, I needed the Halva I remembered as a kid. This product did it! It's delicious, perfect texture and dryness, not oily. If you love Halva, this is the one!

Higher sugar-to-sesame ratio, I do not recommend.
I find this product to have too much sugar. The ratio of sugar to actual sesame is just too high. The overwhelming taste is sugar, and not much of the halva or halawa, actually. I had many other brands, and this one will not be on my list of recommendations.
