I lost my DSM IV that I had since 1994 in my move to another state last year and so I replaced it with the DSM V. This was a good value. I'll use the manual in the future. It's good to have on hand as a reference if you have been trained to use it.
This format is almost impossible to search and you have to scroll to find anything. I order a lot of ebooks, never had that issue, so no, not recommended and I will have to find another one that is user friendly. Thankfully the price was hardly anything so not a huge loss.
This book is clear and easy to read with pages that are designed for healthcare. You will note that unlike normal reading books, this book has a great finish and easy to lightly clean pages. I'm very impressed with the condition and overall design of this book.
The book came super fast. It was shrink wrapped and new! I am very impressed! the pages are printed on quality stock and the print is good, although a bit lighter than I'm used to in psychological texts.. overall I recommend - especially for those college students on a budget. $ 50 is a steal considering the quality of this text.
This book was recommended by my professor since I am pursing a Mental Health Counseling graduate degree. Very easy to carry back and forth from class...probably lighter than the hardcover and cheaper.
