Exact match to my original 2008 WR250R pump. Just different colors. Find a YouTube video on how to remove and replace pump into original plastic assembly and you’re all set. Did the entire job in one hour with the help of my 12 year old. A second set of hands makes it easy.

If you are thinking of buying this pump for a TRX500, I would pass. The pump and the original sending unit housing have to be heavily modified to work. I had to cut the old strainer body to hold the pump in place. There is nothing to keep it mounted to the old housing. Once the pump is pressurized, it will push it out of the housing. Other than that, seems to be good quality. Only time will tell

so far this fuel pump has worked really well and it was delivered to me within a few days of ordering it. It fit perfectly and had plenty of extra parts to make sure it would fit right without having to use any existing components like the screen or rubber o-rings,clips,etc. It appears to be well made and should last for a long time. It seems to be quieter in operation and better made than the factory pump which cost several hundred dollars compared to this pump sold for less than forty. there are no cons with this pump but maybe there are nothing but cons selling the kawasaki OEM parts.

The Kemso fuel pump I got for my 07 Hayabusa was a no brainer decision - it was super affordable - easy to install, plug it in and go! Compared to stock it looks identical except color but It lists a slightly larger pumping capacity - runs great!

On my 2008 WR250R, the pump installed using only the pump itself, a new filter (included) and a new star-retainer (included). None of the other hardware from the kit was needed. I have 150 miles on the new pump, and so far it's working as well as the OEM pump did for 9500 miles. Really, this review needs to be redone in ten more years to see if it lasts as long as the OEM. The price is a no-brainer. $30 vs $350 for the updated Yamaha assembly. By the way, they recalled the Japanese WRs. Thanks Yamaha!

Fits perfect and runs great. Have not had it out in hot temperatures yet where the old stock one would quit. The extra hose, clamps and wires were very helpful as you have to cut the old internal preformed hose and I broke one of the terminals getting the mounting cage apart.
