The recorder is very easy to play high notes. My only problem is the condensation of moisture inside the chamber. But I live in a very hot climate here in Puerto Rico. For a non professional, this can be the best recorder to own. Plys very loud, in comparison with other plastic flutes. I now use this recorder as my regular one. For only $23 it is a very economic nice alternative to a good one.

This instrument readily plays in tune, and neither the upper octave nor the lowest notes are excessively difficult to play. The tone is fairly dark and focused and sounds a bit more wooden than your average plastic recorder. Though dark, it's a pleasant enough sound to continue to enjoy as you play for a while. In comparison to the Yamaha 302B or the Aulos 503B, the sound is fuller and richer (less flutey and hollow). The breath resistance is the highest of the sopranos I have tried, making it harder to overblow and squawk, which should make it an easier recorder for beginners to learn on. The experienced player will likely still prefer the Aulos 703B, however, as the Yamaha 402B does not articulate as cleanly (or really articulate at all - it just plays), and the Aulos's lower breath pressure provides a wonderful lightness that feels nicer in the long run. In addition, I prefer the tone of the Aulos 703B, which is less dark but just as rich and full. So... it's my second-favorite plastic soprano that I've tried. (I haven't tried Zen-on's Stanesby Jr. model, which is likely it's closest competitor, however.)Read full review

The best of the plastic recorders as far as I'm concerned. It's well in tune and easy to play both in the higher and lower registers. Naturally it doesn't have the depth of sound of a wooden recorder but the sound is pleasant. Also, you don't have to contend with warping and pitch problems which are inherent with wooden recorders.

According to my experience: Compared to the Aulos A102N (black/beige soprano), playing the high register is significantly easier. Compared to the Yamaha 300 series with wood-like finish, this one is sharper while the 300 is a bit softer. I like the 300 a bit more but this is a good recorder nonetheless.

This recorder has thicker walls than many student recorders and sounds less whistle-like than some. It's a good one when you don't want to play your wooden one or you are in the constant state of breaking in because you let it set too long.

The flute has a good mellow tone. The arched mouthpiece is very good, The bio-plastic is really nice. and resonant. It is attractive, Comfortable to play. All those things was the reason I purchased the flute in the firstplace and it exceeded my expectations.

I have several recorders both wood and plastic moderately expensive and very expensive hand made it has a sound as good if not better so much so I've made it my main instrument and have retired the others and very much enjoying the ease of Maintenance over wood .

The sound is very good. It does not seem to have the same problem with condensation that the alto of the same line has had.
