I have use fishing line off and on for 30+ years. But typically only for things that could be a little more rigid. When fire line came out myself and hundreds of other beaders started using it more. It proved to be stronger than silk and cheaper than nemo thread. Fire Line has become my goto thread for the majority of my beading projects. It's especially good for everyday wear. Fire Line lays nice & has great flexibility. It comes in multiple colors, but crystal (clear) or smoke (almost black) are my favorites as they blend well and in most cases become almost invisible. If you haven't tried Fire Line yet you should. It is very easy to work with, super strong, doesn't shred in your needle while your beading. The 8lb and 6lb threads are perfect for small seed bead projects. Fire Line is not only a practical option it is also very economical. Happy 😄 Beading!Read full review

I have been making a lot of netted crystal bracelets, and thought 8lb might be safer than the 6lb I had been using, this was perfect and I am enjoying using it. It does not make the bracelet feel stiffer, just more secure.

Costs more than it should. Works good n tight stitches. For dangling work, not so much.
