It's been nearly 30 years since I purchased a hot wheels product, and so when my son wanted this for his 3 year old's Mario Kart collection, I was a little skeptical to purchase such an expensive toy. I am glad to say I was wrong. My 3 year old grandson LOVES racing the cars with his father. He sometimes puts on youtube videos of Mario Kart gameplay in the background and just loves all the characters, calling them by name. Lots of laughter and giggles. The set is SOOO much more sturdier than I expected, and I think will hold up to years of use with proper storage between races! I also have to say that if you are considering this particular set with the 4 race cars included, the price is very reasonable... just look up what these cars go for individually!
