When I received the machine the coolant pump was not working, bought a new one of Amazon and hooked it up. Installed everything, adjusted steppers and ran a job. Machine runs ok, if you run it to fast it will lock up the motors. If that happens you'll burn the power cord which I have extra off and had to replace. Overall quality is nice, very minimal play. Precision is accurate even after an hours run carving a sing. Overall motors do run warm but not hot. I would recommend this to beginner hobbyists, it will do good to learn with but not for a production startup.

I can't rate this because I have not used it but gave it "'YES" for the 3 above questions. My plumbing problem seems to have been resolved. I do think [HOPE] that this was a good buy. I will tell others about my purchase. I ordered this after checking the local rental price for the drill-size hand-held sewer snake. $60 for 4 hours. I then bought a better plunger and it seems to have been adequate too. I was using a fancy-designed plunger that was a big waste of money. After I submitted my order I went to Home Depot and saw a modern version of the old fashion bulb type (It is not as good as the original design of many years ago but was adequate to unplug the stoppage. However, I am keeping the Drain Auger for possible future use. I am also going to one of the local independent hardware stores which stocks a better variety of items than Home Depot and buy one of the old fashion bulb plunger.Read full review

Nice unit, arrived on time and complete. I did not have to buy any other attachments and the little metal tool holder is a great idea. The unit is about 75 lbs but seems easy to use. I like it much better than the one I got at Lowes a few years back, which kinked too easily, rendering it ineffective. This one has a cable about twice the diameter of my previous one and that makes alot of difference. So far, it has worked well and I would buy it again.

This is a great product for the price. What little there was to assemble was very easy. Easy to use. I got the 50 foot 1/8 inch cable. I put it down the clean out in the basement to clean grease and stuff clogging pipe from the kitchen sink. Not only did it open the pipe up but I kept going and it went outside and cleaned out roots. I pulled a bunch of roots out of the pipe. The 50 foot cable was plenty long enough. The machine has plenty of power for any job at home. Make sure you get the Autofeed because it is definitely worth the extra money. It made the machine easy to use. Make sure you have your gloves on and keep machine close to the opening of the pipe with your hands on the cable at the opening so as to not twist the cable. Machine is definitely worth the money.

Was everything it claimed to be, very sturdy, easy to put together and most of all easy to use. I used it on an outdoor drain pipe which gets plugged every year from roots. I am tired of having to rent a snake that requires a pickup to transport and gives you a limited amount of time to use.Now I have it here and ready to use.

I would advise anyone looking at this to take 10 minutes and learn how to use it. The reverse switch is not for removing the snake. It's in the rare occasion that the snake gets jammed. The motor directions were labeled properly on my system. The mounting screws were loose on mine, so make sure they are tight. The air switch worked fine for me.And let me tell you, if you have ever rented an industrial snake and tried to haul it up and down stairs, this is a treat in comparison.

Have a drain that periodically backs up; each time we call the plumber, it's at least $250. This paid for itself on first use. I'm going to use it on the main clean-out, to scrape some roots. Solid construction, pretty easy to use. Comes with several bits. However, it could use an additional, smaller 'olive' bit; the one included has difficulty with sharp turns. Also, the instructions seem more for a higher model. A little more explanation for us beginners would have been nice (yes, you can find some good ones on youtube, which I did.) Those are the only 2 things that keep it from a 5 star rating, but I have quite happy with it, and recommend it.

If you are having to buy a medium-sized drain machine, this is the one! It is well built, easy to use (and with instructions that are easy to understand - a first!!!) and is sturdy and powerful for the job. I didn't want a huge machine as we have a small house, but with older sewer lines wanted something in case of something unexpected. It happened - and this machine had the power to run the snake and clear out the drain lines. It is not light, but is well built and no-nonsense. I would recommend this machine if you are wanting a steel framed machine that is not one of those box store plastic jobbers. This is so much better!

Item: 124164715155, VEVOR Electric 100'x3/8" Drain Cleaner Machine Sewer Snake Clog w/Cutter Shipped/received on time as promised. The "pair" of gloves with the drain snake were worthless, mismatched & made of the type of vinyl you'd find on a kitchen stool. (Get your gloves from Harbor Freight, instead.) The 3/8 inch coil was a bit "underpowered" for clearing a main drain line and had issues with feeding from the open drum housing, tangling & kinking in the drum housing. I opted for the open face drum which helped in getting it adjusted to feed right, but the design has flaws where the 3/8 inch cable gets caught at the front of the drum and prevents feeding smoothly, causing the tangling & kinking of the cable. The pics of the drain snake show a tool box mounted on the frame, it wasn't there. Instead there was a wire "bracket" with the tools hanging below the motor, not a serious issue, but clearly not what was shown in the pics. I'll buy a bag to store the tools in later. The drain snake did operate as expected. When received, I needed to remove the belt guard on top to get the belt around the motor pulley and drum properly, this may be intentional by the manufacturer due to shipping concerns, not necessarily an issue, but something to be aware of and not mentioned in the owners manual. The power cord and foot switch line are very short, approximately 6' and an extension cord had to be used to reach the wall outlet. The foot switch operated fine. The auto feeder on the front worked as designed, until the issue with twisting & kinking in the drum happened. The power switch next to the motor has 3 settings; Off, Forward & Backward, but that's not really clear because it's not in English, it reads: CW OFF CCW. There's nothing in the owners manual about this, but I did get it figured out; CW is Forward & CCW is Backward. If I were to order this type of drain snake again, I would get the 1/2 inch cable model. At some point I may just order a replacement cable of the 1/2" x 100' type, I expect it will fit in the drum just fine. Overall, I give it 4/5 stars.Read full review
