This monitor looks beautiful, has a great picture and you can adjust the tilt and height.
It comes with a software interface to control all its features like brightness, contrast and different modes, (gaming, reading, movie, etc) from your desktop with your computer making much easier to set the correct levels, so don't worry about the cumbersome OSD built into the monitor.
Great value
Average monitor that fails on it's main selling point
I bought this monitor because the specifications indicated it could do 75hz @ 2560x1080 on LGs product webpage. However, the one I got only runs smoothly at 60hz. It stutters with choppy game play at 75hz. After trying several different video cards and hdmi/dvi/DP cables I finally sent it in to LG who sent it back saying nothing was wrong with. I ended up buying a cheaper monitor which worked at 75hz without the issues I had with this one.
My life was not good with this LG monitor.
I’ve only had it for a day but I love this thing. Game changer for productivity. I’m not a gamer so can’t comment on that but picture quality for normal use and videos is excellent
Monitor works flawlessly. I read reviews before I bought it and a few said they didn’t think it would work well at work with spread sheets and things of that nature. Boy we’re they wrong. Plenty of room on this monitor, I have two spreadsheets open along with a folder window. I also have a 27” wide screen dell paired next to it that gives me the ability to go through prints while filling in my spreadsheets. Great design, incredible picture and clarity, and great sound from the built in speakers. All in all a great purchase at a good price.
Plain and simple, if you want an ultrawide and don't want to spend $600+ on the higher resolution models, then this is the monitor for you. I upgraded from a 27 inch monitor to this, and it has been awesome. I have about 11 inches of extra horizontal workspace as opposed to my old monitor. I'm able to fully utilize two side by side windows without any qindow obstructions. I also enjoy the inclusion of FreeSync. My faster paced games now aren't tearing, which makes a huge difference. Lastly, this monitor is better than its predecessing models because it is also height adjustable. I thought it was a huge plus, and that feature alone drove me to get this monitor over the 34UM67 and earlier monitors.
