Bought this for the express reason to use it for homebrew. Didn’t realize that DS Emulation wasn’t possible for the switch. Overall the switch is a great console and I’ve had fun with my own original switch since I got it in 2018. Homebrew is alright at the moment but considering the main draw for me was DS and possible 3DS emulation, it’s not working for me. The switch is great, but if you want to do emulation, just get a 3DS. It can do DS, 3DS, GBA with the built in VC emulator, as well as many of the older game consoles and handhelds. Overall though, the switch is a great console and a great buy if you are interested in old Nintendo games

Just received my Switch console only with DEEP SCRATCHES as noted in the listing. The unit did show signs of wear and some deep scratches. The screen still works and the original glass isn't cracked. It wasn't bad enough for me to replace the digitizer. I plan on putting a screen projector on it to help fill/cover the scratches. Otherwise, I think it's perfect for me.

Bought just the tablet with the intention of using third party support stuff with it to spend on the cheap. Third party or not, you NEED joycons to even register the Switch as your own. But save for that the device plays the games I want with no problems and using it with the dock is nice and convenient for needing to go somewhere and not wanting to stop a hunt or grinding in an RPG.
