  • Great awesome amp!

The sound quality is almost tube like, clear and natural. It brings music and vocals alive. I run it on two types of speakers at home. They are a pair of Dayton Audio 652 Air. The amp brings out the best with the AMT tweeters. The other pair I have is TDL tower speakers which I use on Arcam amp. With this pair the amp performed better, effortlessly made the speakers produce thumping bass and sweet highs.

  • Really good amp... and not just at this price!

I'd read a few reviews and couldn't believe something this small and inexpensive was as good as they said. Boy, was I wrong. I recently upgraded my solid state amp to a Sansui AU-317 and have been loving the presence in the soundstage that I've never heard outside of my Heathkit AA-100 tube amp, but this little amp really impresses with my digital media. I've played CDs and my phone through it so far. As for CDs, jazz (big band and small groups), pop (60s to present) and acoustic (folk to world) all sound great across the board with clear crisp highs and well defined lows. Rock has been patchy, but all at least good if not surprisingly so, could be the production, as Zappa's "Hot Rats" gold disc is awesome, but Hum's "Downward is Heavenward", while expansive, was a little fatiguing after a while (probably the compression in the '90's recording). Mojave 3's "Ask Me Tomorrow" had the vocals wrap around you. Beck's "Sea Change" is always a good one to test your system and it didn't disappoint at all with the acoustics and the bass perfectly balanced in the stage. My phone played radio channels just fine through the 3.5mm MP3 jack. Buy it... if you can find one.

  • Pleasantly Surprised

Pleasantly surprised with the sound quality and punch of this little bitty amp. I'm using it with my PC and two Sony bookshelf speakers.

  • Very Good Amplifier

Great amplifier. Packs a ton of power and fidelity into a small package, with a small price to boot, while looking very cool in the process.

  • Buy it, hide it.

Great sound. Awful (sub-chinese-toy-standard!) mechanical and assembly quality.
