I love this filter because it works very quietly and effective mechanism with simplistic design. The entire thing can be disassembled and washed, reassembled in 10 minutes, good as new. The water flow may be too strong for any tank under 30gallons, it will swoosh the fish really strongly if the tank is only 10-20gallons for example. If you have a 30 - 70 gallon aquarium this size is optimal.

After first two hour run, it stopped working. The humming came from its pump. Did not matter if I plug and unplug, the pump did not start. So I totally disconnect its power and waited for four hours and then plugged, it worked. Now it has been two weeks, sometimes on but sometimes off.
