Second one I have in 10 years, The first one, ( refurbished too $45 ) still working and making crema, but the coffee is not so dark on the edges of a transparent glass, when you see at the light and compared with the new one, but is only a little bit, still strong coffee. This is a pump mechanical machine, I used 2-3 times a day at least, so is normal the 15bar pump is not so strong after 10 years of daily use. Best bang for the buck, always crema, love this machine.

I opened the box and the water reservoir was cracked. Was told to submit a claim under warrant, I bought a replacement. When I was able to use the cup did not completely lock in and leaked. Had to purchase an o-ring to alleviate this issue.

I only use this machine for a frother so I cant give a review of all the functions. We use the machine for hot water to make the instant coffee and use the steamer for the cappuccino part of it and it makes really great Lattes. We have a latte every morning and it is terrific. Eldon C.

Great for espresso, but lattes, etc, which require foamed milk is a problem. We found that the steam from the wand is sufficiently hot, but the pressure is so high it causes a too-high steam flow rate. So you get uncontrollable bubbling no matter how you position the wand or temp of the milk or soy milk! We tried every suggestion that we could find online to no avail. Having to return unit because it is a "factory" refurb and they don't have any more replacements. Would have given one star, but the espresso side was fine.

Makes great espresso and looks great on the counter. It has plenty of room to put your frothing pitcher underneath the brew head. Has the cup warming plate on top which makes a nice area to store your cups. Wife says it makes more espresso and quicker than our previous machine. This replaces an old Delonghi that served us for many years. The "refurbished" Cuisinart that we received shows no evidence of ever being used, i.e., it was like new. It heats up in less than 90 seconds and I make cappuccino every morning using Cafe Bustelo and distilled water. To steam the milk, I don't use the frothing wand on the Cuisinart, but use a Bodum glass frother that I've used for years and is easy to clean in the dishwasher. Overall, I'm very pleased with the Cuisinart and would buy it again.
