I first seen Scunci No-Slip Grip The Evolution Hair Tie selling in Walmart years ago. My pack literally lasted me about 2 years (pack of 5). I seen them again in a Rite Aid (those lasted another 2 or 3 years). I've used many hair grips, from literal rubber bands, synthetic based, cloth, other silicone based, and even cloth. Out of all the different hair grips I've used, this particular brand and grips are the best. The No-Slip Grips are not cheap, nor are they cheaply made. The hair grip keeps its elasticity until they break (nothing's perfect, water will eventually caused them to snap). The Scunci No-Slip... is the best hair grip I've ever used. I recommend for curly hair first (especially if you have bushy curly hair like me). All hair types can use it, but if your hair is short and straight you will come into issues.Read full review

as far as I know, the only thing that works that doesn't pull hair out. I have to buy a ton of these every year because my daughter is into trampoline. I try to buy the largest bulk pack so they don't cost as much. after a while the cost adds up because they will eventually break, or just plain disappear. I always need to have a bunch at each location, bathroom, car, gym bag, and etc., because my daughter will forget to carry extra.
