Having lived in Cincinnati for 10 years, I was a fan of Skyline Chilli. For years it has been available as a frozen product in a local store, but recently it has disappeared. This doesn't say "Skyline" on it, but the packaging looks similar, so I gave it a try. Following the instructions, it makes 2 quarts of chilli that to my palate is as good as the original. I suppose the brand of ingredients used could alter the taste somewhat, but I'm happy with the results. Because it makes 2 quarts, you better have a big party lined up, or have freezer containers ready.

Born and raised in Cincy . Many a night out we would end up at Skyline Chili after the bars closed to get a six way chili. Thats spaghetti, chili, cheese, onions, beans and oyster crackers. Or swap out the spaghetti and add in hot dogs and hot dog buns to make cheese coneys. Coneys were named after the Coney Island Amusement Park out on RT 52 by the Ohio River. Moved away when I graduated from UC. Those were the days ..

Pretty close to the Cincinnati chili you get at Skyline. Very easy, just add tomato paste, beef, and water and simmer. I have a scratch recipe with a ton of spices but this is much easier and tastes like the original.

I have introduced Cincinnati chili to Massachusetts. I love it and my grandchildren love it. People in MA have never heard if it. My grandchildren make my cook it at least once a week for the last 4-5 years. When they tell friends parents that that is what they love most, the parents always cook tex-mex chili.

I got hooked on Skyline Chili when I lived in Cincinnati, OH. Moved away and missed the taste so often. Made it from scratch, but it just isn't the same. Then one of our daughters saw Cincinnati Recipe and bought some. We love it. It isn't Skyline, but is so close it has become our new favorite especially because it is far more easily ordered and prepared than anything else. Delighted to be able to share a pot - once in a while - with friends in Montana.

Having lived in Cincinnati some time ago, I developed a taste for the special kind of chili that is only available there and in the surrounding area. Skyline was my favorite. This mix comes close to the taste and consistency of the real thing if you follow the directions when preparing. An interesting trivia fact...the company that makes this product "Cincinnati Recipe Inc" lists their address as 4180 Thunderbird Lane, Fairfield, OH 45014. Search that address and see what else comes up. No wonder it tastes like Skyline!

I love this mix. People try to make recipes that they find online, but this mix is the ONLY one that tastes like Cincinnati Chili original. Add a square of chocolate to your pot and it mellows out the tomato. My relatives in Cincinnati introduced me to this product. Thank you for selling it!!

Tastes just like the chili I used to eat when I was living in the Cincinnati/Dayton, Ohio area. It's a bit expensive, I think, but the taste is so good, that it's worth it. Tastes just like the stuff I used to get at Skyline and Gold Star Chili up in Ohio. My wife absolutely loves it.
