Easy to use, accurate.
The assembly of the module into the case was easy, and all the screws and spacers were the correct length. The LCD backlight is excellent. The semiconductors can be connected in any order. So easy to use, just connect and push the blue button. Repeatable results on low resistance, and semiconductor data. Sturdy,.....anticipate this instrument will last a long time. For use regularly, I may fit a DC input socket for a plug-pack to replace the internal 9 volt battery. I recommend this instrument for its quality and great price.

Fast, simple assembly, works great!
Was very easy to assemble, a wonderful bench tester for transistor HFE value, capacitance, including capacitance ESR values, resistance, inductance values, tests diacs, triacs, FETs, JFETs, PNP and NPN transistors. Just hook up your component to be tested to any of three test buses, press the button, that's it! It quickly produces the information, and test value of the component on a decent sized illuminated LCD screen. It shuts off on its own in power saving mode after displaying your component reading for several seconds. VERY good value for what it does, a BIG time saver in a little box. Uses a common 9 Volt battery to power it. This tester is definitely WORTH buying!

handy and surprisingly capable
The LCD is not properly attached to the pcb and needed a bit of glueing together. Now it is a solid piece of kit. Very simple to use; recommended for analysing a surprising variety of electronics components. Capacitance, inductance, resistors, semiconductors. Reasonably accurate. A nice plus is that the unit displays the battery voltage each time you turn it on.

Fast, Pretty Accurate, and Inexpensive
It is convenient when i need a quick check and my vom is out of reach. One annoyance is having take the case apart for battery changes but otherwise its not too bad for the price. Quality is ok.

Everyone should have one!!
This thing is terrific. A few years ago, it would've required hundreds of dollars worth of test equipment to do what this thing does for little more than a ten-spot. The only thing I did to change it was add a power switch so the 9V battery won't drain when not in use.

Capacitance meter
Is of good quality, compact, looks and feels good and when it recognizes a capacitor it gives a reasonably accurate reading. I tried a dozen different small capacitors and it read eight of them. There is a small imperfection on the face of the LED where the numbers appear but you can still see all the numbers.

Good Tool
Very handy for the work bench. Down side is that no instructions where in package . The see thru plastic box took a bit of time to assemble But when all is said & done I would purchase again as it save a great deal of time when sorting & balancing componets.

Sometimes too good to be true is true!
This particular version of these testers is an improvement over the last model I had. It has a larger screen & the screen info is much more clearly displayed in terms of what the info is saying. It makes more sense. Being I N the electronics business, I can easily say that these testers are the best bargain I've ever seen & this one is priced cheaper than anything I've ever seen. Also very sturdy & reasonably reliable. And it does so many tests & has good ranges. It's a steal.

A tool any electronic enthusiast could use on his work bench.
Easy to use and solves identifying components. Lacks instruction on its use but YouTube clips are a solution to the problem. The clear case takes no time to assemble. Older test tools I have do not cover range like this tester does. Simple to use with only one button operation.

Impressive tool for the price
I gotta say, considering what this thing cost, it blew me away. Assembly is easy and the thing works almost like magic, plug a component in between two of the 3 probes (or all 3 if it's a 3 pin component) and it will tell you what it is, and its value. Doesn't matter if it's a resistor, potentiometer, diode, transistor, mosfet, cap or inductor (It can measure resistors down to at least 0.18 ohms, but it'll still recognize and inductor as and inductor, even tested it with a homewound one) It'll probably detect even more, that's just the things that i've tried out. This isn't a 200$ multimeter tho, and with low prices, something will have to give. I haven't gone through a ton of testing, but it seems to be pretty spot on with passives, it does have some repeatability issues with semiconductors, although these variances seem to stay withing tolerance.Read full review
