Thayers is a great brand of Slippery Elm Lozenges! ...The new owners have erred in discontinuing such a strong and robust product. The bean counters and product managers are certainly short sighted. A pity.

I'm so disappointed they dis...continued this! Thayers was bought out by L'Oreal--who made the decision to stop making this because they only make skin care/beauty products. I called and asked that they reconsider. Why? This is a wonderful product. It keeps the vocal cords lubricated without the feeling of "drying." The reason it works so well is--of course the slippery elm--but also it does NOT contain mint. I've searched but haven't found a product that replaces this one. And so I've bought 20+ tins to hopefully last a lifetime. LOL!

First time to try the Slippery El...m Lozenges So far, it seems to be working for my Heartburn / GERD issues; however, it's way too early to tell whether I can replace a prescription medication with it. For me, it's only a trial period. So far, I'd have to say the Thayers product is living up to my expectations....Not sure it will be my final go to product or not......only time will tell.

Slippery Elm is SO HEALTHY for EVERYONE. It coats the throat, ...stomach and bladder as well if you have problems with those other issues. These taste great, are easy to chew, suck on, or even let them dissolve under your tongue. The only thing I don't like is the added sweetener. (but that's just me, a diabetic). Slippey elm tastes just fine without anything added to it.
