I am using this after ortho surgery as the toilet was too low and I was not in position to replace it with a high one. This is sturdy and easily to clean, adjustible in height and whether you have one or two arms to push off with is your choice and how your bathroom is set up. I needed a chair like this and did a lot of research. The price and size of this one were exactly what I was looking for. Several reviews on other sites said that, after a short period of use, the arms would no longer stay locked in position. I gambled that this would not turn out to be a problem for me for two reasons: 1) I am less than half the rated weight of the chair, 2) I do not need to lock/unlock the arms to slide to/from a wheelchair, bed, etc. However, after a few weeks of use, the right arm started to fall down by itself whenever I sat down. I cannot find a better option, so I am presently stuck with it. I am researching some method to permanently (or at least more rigidly) attach the arms to the chair so they cannot fall down.
