I am using this after ortho surgery as the toilet was too low and I was not in position to replace it with a high one. This is sturdy and easily to clean, adjustible in height and whether you have one or two arms to push off with is your choice and how your bathroom is set up. A great value...the only less than stellar comment is that it is a hard seat so you wont be comtemplating the meaning of life on that seat. Thank you.
I needed a chair like this and did a lot of research. The price and size of this one were exactly what I was looking for. Several reviews on other sites said that, after a short period of use, the arms would no longer stay locked in position. I gambled that this would not turn out to be a problem for me for two reasons: 1) I am less than half the rated weight of the chair, 2) I do not need to lock/unlock the arms to slide to/from a wheelchair, bed, etc. However, after a few weeks of use, the right arm started to fall down by itself whenever I sat down. I cannot find a better option, so I am presently stuck with it. I am researching some method to permanently (or at least more rigidly) attach the arms to the chair so they cannot fall down. I do need the arms for support when sitting down and standing up, so I cannot let them just hang down unlocked. Otherwise, the chair is study and comfortable for me to use.Read full review
With fractured ankle and no weight bearing on my foot,I found this is to be a great bedside commode. The surface is large enough for safe one legged transfers and safe maneuvering for cleaning oneself. It is solid and the drop arm feature makes it easily accessible, from the right or left. I replaced a small padded commode with it and am glad to have it!
This is one of the best bedside commodes made. It is sturdy and fairly comfortable, and easily adjustable. I was able to adjust it to fit over the toilet and it replaces the regular toilet seat. This makes it very comfortable for those of us of greater weight. The hand rails make easy to get back up. Very good quality and easily capable of the 1000 LB listed capacity.
Perfect for my spouse's needs, easy to get on and off for a 75 year old obese woman who uses a walker and has very weak legs. Well made and very sturdy. Well worth the money, I saw other ones that were more money and did not look like they had the quality of this seat.
