I'm not experienced in Musical items whatsoever, so I don't know how good this Review would be for someone else. But the Case seems 'Solid'. Nice Soft Inner-Laid Material, and Secure Zipper. As for the actual Harmonicas. Their Quality seems to be 'Okay'. Though I do remember my Old Mouth-Piece being heavier and more solidly built..., 35 years ago. Perhaps with Technology being what it is Today, they, Hohner, has found ways to make the same Quality Sound, with Cheaper & Lighter Material. Who knows.... One thing is Certain: I wish I would have found a way to 'Hear' the particular Tones of these Harmonicas, Before I bought them. Because of the 3 that came with this outfit, I can only use One. So let that Buying lesson of Mine, be something for you to Consider before You purchase one. Overall, would I buy another? I can't say for sure. The 'Lightness' of them kinda makes me "Feel" like I am playing Cheap stuff, and That Mindset is a Factor in my personal Confidence.... Would I recommend them to someone else? Not before I let them try mine First. That way they would Feel it for themselves.... Then I would leave it up to them. All I can honestly say, is that I'm not Proud of them, and I don't show them off to my friends; like I do with other things I have bought that I feel are Good.Read full review

The real value of this set of harmonicas lies in the case. The harmonicas themselves are inexpensive; and this is truly a case of "getting what you paid for." They're hard to play -- very hard -- and it takes the fun out of playing a harmonica, for certain. I'd especially warn new players to stay away from this particular model, lest it discourage you from wanting to learn the harmonica. I should include this comment, too: I had read lots of bad reviews that said the only good thing about the set was the case. I knew what I was getting, when I bought them -- and I do sue the case with other harmonicas. Is it a good value? Yes, if all you want is a case. Is it enjoyable? The harmonicas are not at all enjoyable. I don't -- I can't -- recommend it.

I don't want this to come off as a complaint, because they were cheap and not meant to be "professional" quality---BUT these really are cruddy. Plastic and bad sounding. I would have probably searched for something else, had someone else said this. If you just want something to play for yourself or to practice for kids or something, then this is a good value. If you want something that feels, sounds and looks good - then go elsewhere. These really are juvenile and poorly made.

I bought these for my father who has been playing harps for over 60 years. He has a few Hohner harps and likes them very much. I am not running Hohner down but in this case I guess you get what you pay for. Even Hohner has it's limits for this price. These harps are not easy to play. The reeds are to tight. So if you buy, buy the higher end Hohner's. I love my chrome plated Hohner's.

The case is worth more than the harmonicas .... I would not recommend these harmonicas to anyone ... They're junk. While the "tone" might be there; they're just too hard to blow. I'm disappointed in HONER. I wouldn't even recommend them for, the "learner/toy" market .... If you're going to learn ... learn on a good quality harmonica. Enough said.
