This CPU allows you to run 64-bit programs. The 2MB cache size will allow this CPU to access frequently used programs in under a few seconds. The 4GB of DDR3 SDRAM allows this Gateway notebook to launch multiple programs at once with no slowdown. This laptop supports a maximum of 8GB of RAM, giving users room to upgrade. The computer sports a 5400 RPM hard drive that can store up to 500GB of data. This hard drive can store over 25 PC games and over 1,000 photos. The built-in HD graphics video card provides crisp visuals for both games, series, and movies alike. The built-in video hardware also allows the integrated webcam on this laptop to provide clear images. The HDMI video input lets you connect this Gateway laptop to your television. The card reader slot lets you plug any compatible flash memory accessory into it. This slot supports flash memory cards such as the Memory Stick PRO and the SD memory card. Originally installed on this Gateway notebook is an array of programs beyond Windows. This content ranges from social networking applications to video games. A preinstalled copy of Skype allows you to reach out to friends all across the globe. The Norton Online Backup utility gives you the ability to make a copy of an important file or document. This model also includes a 60-day trial for both Microsoft Office and Norton Internet Security 2013. The WildTangent application lets you play demo versions of some of the hottest games available.
