/SLR/DSLR lenses fit snugly in the pouch and when the drawstring is closed there is no danger of the lens falling out. The padding is sufficient to help preserve the cosmetic appeal of your lenses when stored, travelling, or while using during a photo shoot. The XL pouch that measures 10" x 3.5" is the only one that I don't use because I don't have any lenses that large. My 70-300mm lens fits just fine in the Large pouch. When not in use the pouches flatten and fold away so that I can carry in my pocket or put away in the camera bag, taking up minimal space. The drawstring loop and clip can be used together to attach to your belt loops, around the belt, or backpack for easy access when you are using more than one lens. I like this so much that I bought two four-packs.

Seller Digitalgoja was great. Shipped very quickly. The pouches are well-made. Firm padding. However, if you use one of the longer L type lenses with the tripod/monopod collars - the pouch is too narrow to fit. Its a struggle to get the lens into the pouch. It will eventually fit though. Keep this in mind. These pouches give mild protection for lenses in your bag or backpack. They, of course, are not designed for drop protection. If the bigger pouches were wider I would not hesitate to purchase again.

These are well made and should last a long time. Every lens I own is in one of these Altura pouches. The clip and belt loop are very handy when you want to take along just one more lens. I suppose you could hang as many as will fit around your waist, but one seems about right to me. I consider the pouch to be a good fit when the drawstring opening pulls completely closed. If it won't close I go up a size. Since they're Neoprene, I just fold over the excess and the lens and pouch fit in nearly the same space that the lens alone would fit. A hard lens case would lack this advantage. (Physically, my smallest lens is a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 and the longest is a Canon EF 70-300mm IS USM. There is a pouch to fit them and all the sizes in between.) These are a good value and I literally buy one every time I buy a lens. Highly recommended.Read full review

Just replaced our old Canon DSLR with a new Canon DSLR. I have always tried to take extreme car of my equipment. Having a spare lens in the bag wasn't a problem, but now we have 4 lenses and didn't want them damaged in the oversized bag we are now using. These pouches keep our lenses separated and individually padded so there is practically no chance of getting any damage of any kind. Thank you for a great product and exceptional service.

The Altura pouches appear to be well made. They are padded better than the Nikon pouches, and I like that. The drawstring has a plastic keeper that is easy to operate, and if it should fail there is enough drawstring to be able to tie it, to keep the pouch closed. I don't expect the plastic keeper to fail, ever. The large one is big enough to hold the Nikon 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 G VR lens and shade with space to spare. The smallest holds the 50mm AI-S f/1.2 very nicely. The in between sizes do a good job with in between sized lenses.
