This soothing purring very, very soft and sort of the "deflated" look to it toy is nice for kitty to lay on and snuggle with. You can put catnip attractant on it. It's not a dog toy, so if doggie plays with it, there is a good chance he can damage with sound or the wires inside. If your dog picks it up there can be damage. So, leave for the kitty only where doggie cannot get ahold of it. Try the purring part only when they are very relaxed and happy. Spritz a little cat nip attractant on it and they will rub on it as well. If they dig their nails in and kick and bite it, again the sound can be damaged. Don't forget to remove the electronic components before washing.
