Do more in less time with energy-efficient desktops. With AMD s APU, a multicore CPU and discrete-level GPU on a single power-efficient chip, you get the visual performance you need for the best choice for digital entertainment and gaming. With even more compute performance, graphics are crisp, bright and smooth, and content is easy to share.
Disable the AMD "hyperthreading" and works wonderfully!
It's not a true quad core processor, but gets the job done for what I use it for. Ran into stability issues with the "hyper-threading" feature enable (why they're able to get away w/calling it a quad core, when there's only 2 physical cores). The graphics side of things works remarkably well. I'm still in the testing phase, but getting it to run Steam's In-home Streaming @ 1080p and 60fps has been nearly flawless. The computer does lock up after a few minutes (not from overheating), but I think it has more to do w/drivers and using wireless network connection.
This is an aged processor. I bought for a light gaming/office build. Its replacing an A6-5400B 2 core processor. You can pickup an i5 for close to this price. It will perform way better. If you want a good AMD processor go with Ryzen.
Stabil, fast, impressive performance on all levels. Very satisfyed.
I've built a computer with the A-10. That one rocked! This pic here might not be correct (should be an all black box). The graphics on the A-10 were EXTREMELY impressive without a graphics card, so I'm looking forward to seeing this one in action. Considering the cost of graphics cards the APU is a very budget concious choice for the average to above average gamer looking for a budget build. I got the A-8 for a computer that will be used for online classes for web design and some gaming. I am confident the sustem (paired with the MSI FM2-85xa-g65 mobo) will excede the customer's expectations. The computer I built for myself with a AMD Phenom 6-core & discrete graphics card is looking a bit lacking now, lol.
