This CPU can be very fast but requires a good cooling to not run too hot. As its made on a smaller 32nm process it only needs tiny bumps in vcore voltages to run At higher frequency. I got mine running at 4.3 GHz with quite a minimum effort on Gigabyte 990GA motherboard, used vcore of 1.35, also slightly raised NB and LLC voltages. Performance have caused all my games to run very smoothly and fluidly. Its one heck of a CPU at dirt cheap price. Mine was only $100 and I don't think you can get a better value per dollar then this. I upgraded from thuban 1090t hexacore and it made quite a difference. If you are on the fence about buying this - don't be. Just get it.

Just grab an FX 6300 and overclock it. No noticeable difference seen here. Assassin's Creed, GTA V, no FPS boost, can't even turn up the settings. Nearly identical performance, even on better cooling. Don't waste your money.

I have bought 3 of these CPU's so far and they perform great you can overclock these CPU's very easily for great Gaming Performance just add a nice Graphics Card and your good to go. The stock heatsink fan works but I would get a 120mm air cooler or water cooler and you can keep them cool at over 4.00 GHZ with no problems. My Setup runs at 4.20 Ghz and never had any problems no voltage change to the CPU or nothing just change the CPU multiplier higher in the BIOS. These are great CPU's for the price and you can get them to run right at what the (FX 9570 4.4Ghz) starts at for about around 100$ cheaper with a custom cooler. For the extra cost to get the FX9570 or FX9590 I like to get the FX8320 and spend the extra cash on a good CPU Cooler for all around the same price as the FX 9000 Series CPU's but that's just me. I have 2 Desktops running these same CPU's flawlessly. I really can't say I won't be purchasing any more of these in the future cause it runs great.Read full review

I bought this product to build a new work and gaming rig. What I like about this CPU is its capability to run beyond the rate clock and the price is cheap. With adequate cooling system and a decent motherboard I was able to take this CPU to 4.5 Ghz. The only negative about this CPU is that it run very hot, but can always use Cool n' quiet features to reduce the power consumption. I have been using AMD for years, my last 3 system were built with AMD CPUs, this time around I was consider to switch to Intel. But after review the budget, I have change my mind and decide to get AMD instead.
Excellent CPU...for a reasonable price... Very fast and reliable... It is an open CPU but no need to over clock.. 8320s will run most games paired with a decent Graphics card... I have used these CPUs over the past several years..never had one fail..

Very good CPU. It seems to do a great job with everyday tasks and due to having eight cores, it even does a good job hard tasks like with video encoding. This processor is not as good as say an i7 from Intel but its certainly one of the best value processors (i my opinion) on the market. The only Con with this processor is the stock cooler is quite loud and you can't overclock it to the FX-8350 speed on the stock cooler even though both processors use the same cooler. Still a great CPU though.
