Love these batteries been using them for many many years in fact still have a battery from 5/05 still in service and shows no signs of loss of power. Theses batteries are tanks ther are in all my boats for starting and trolling also my kayak for gps and trolling motor set up runs all day. If you use a good battery charger maintainer like the NOCO'S they will last you for many years. They are a lil expensive but great value and last forever well worth the money!!

For true boat owners there are only 2 batteries to use today The # 1 is ODYSSEY @ 500.00 and # 2 is OPTIMA @ 215.00 Put a 1.0-1.5 amp charger on each and the OPTIMA will last at least 4 years easily I have 4 on my boat 2 for engine and electronics and 2 for trolling motor For the cost this is the best deal you can put together OPTIMA batteries are put together well at the factory and if maintenance is kept on them will last

I like Optima batteries for my marine equipment. The older Optimas would last for 5+ yrs not sure about the new ones since they are now owned by Johnson Controls. The batteries arrived in professional well packed boxes with no damage.

These are great deep cycle batteries. No spill and no corrosion issues. Last a long time. Expensive as ...but worth it? Not the first one I've bought and not the last.

I ordered 8 Optima D31M batteries for my RV. The arrived well packed and in new/excellent condition. They have been charged up and are holding their charge. They have been installed for 10 days. The only concern is that 6 of them have a serial number that starts with 618 and other 2 start with 621 and 624. Not sure what that means.
