Item didn't work in my pool as it couldn't adjust low enough as listed in the details. Unless your skimmer level can accommodate a fill to about 8" or less below the deck surface (max adjustment) don't buy it. Also, the quality of the plastic components is so cheap I doubt it would last one season.

It's been on the pool side for about a month now and so far it's worked perfectly. I have a very slow pool leak in our in ground pool and this sensor has been able to maintain the water level properly with very little fuss. I didn't need to do anything to it other than adjust the water level cutoff, and it's maintained that level ever since. I'll eventually fix the leak, but for now this sensor has taken care of the water level and avoiding pump burn out.
