Amazing tool!
It arrived quickly even with the holidays which was surprising. Its so simple to use and so fast! It takes me roughly 1/3rd of the time it used to (I am new to jewelery making so I wasn't fast to begin with but this tool seriously was amazing especially for a newbee). Falls short of my expectations
Do not expect this plier to make closed loops. The plier is a great idea that needs to be re-engineered. After you make a loop in your wire, you have an open loop which is often askew to being perpidicular to your wire. The loop then has to be closed and realigned horizontally and perpindicularly, taking as much time as it would to make a closed loop with chain and round nose pliers.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It Really Works
This tool works smoothly and very well. My only complaint is the amount of waste it creates. When I'm using sterling wire, I don't really want to have a tool chop off 1/2" of silver in the process! I'm experienced enough that I can use the tool without always putting the end of the wire through the guide hole opposite what will become the loop, so there is less waste. Yes, I save my scrap, but I'd rather not use up my wire faster than necessary. But if you have trouble making loops, this tool is indispensable. Just be sure to get the right size for your needs! Perfect Loops Every Time.
If you need consistent loops or have a design with a lot of loops, like a rosary, this is a must tool to have. Paid for itself the first day. Does take a little practice to get the hang of getting your second loop up close to the bead but there are plenty of YouTube videos available for training. Works with a variety of wire types and gauges. Do be careful not to use gauges over the recommended sizes. Makes making loops so easy. This item makes the smaller loops so the larger Looper may be what you need. This is so easy to use. I can make eye pins and loop the end of a wire for a line of beads so much faster. This really helps
This is very useful for a newb like me. It cuts amazing and the quickness and ease of making a loop is effortless . However I will say it's hard to make the loop tight it lay flush with some items . I am creating loops connected to a thick stone setting and the bulk of the setting doesn't allow for that tight close closure. I think it works better agains beads and other smaller items . Consistently shaped loops
This is my second looper. I repair and remake broken jewelry donated to the Hospice Thrift shop...this speeds me along in prep to sell at the shop. A must have for any serious jewelry crafter who works in large quantity and wants to use wire spool to save money on findings. The second one is for home use in creating new linked jewelry... works with 18-26 gauge wire...the thinner the wire, the less likely to get a snapped wire, more likely to get a bent wire which can then be wound around the loop and manually snipped. Best tool EVER!!!!
Man-o MAN!!! if you know how many DIY loops I suffered through until I saw this tool in use on a You-Tube channel. I thought ooooooooooh geeee-golly. After buying this looper I now have a surplus of eye pins (well we know that will go quickly if you're creative). This looper does exactly as the direction on the package and the You-Tube video even gives a demonstration of a more precise closed loop because it will leave an opening, and we know we don't want to take to those needle nose messing up that perfect circle loop.
