This is a great guitar if you are willing to work with it a little bit. The body, neck and overall construction is great. It's a little heavy, but that's to be expected. The frets are just okay, but with polishing they are adequate. On my example, the 24th fret is not hammered in properly so it sticks up a little bit off the fretboard. Annoying, but it's not getting in my way at the moment. The biggest issue is the nut. In my example, the nut slots are cut way too high, which pushes the notes sharp. I had to do a lot of filing and fussing over the nut. And I'm all thumbs when it comes to that kind of stuff. BUT...that's why I buy some cheap guitars for my collection, so I can practice my own repairs and get better at it. So, after I fussed with it I took it to rehearsal and played it for four hours. I didn't even think to pick up my other guitar, which cost twice as much as this one. The pickup sounds great, it's a humbucker with a coil split selector so you can turn off either of the two coils, very handy. It bucks the hum very well although it is somewhat microphonic. I'm also learning how to pot pickups. You can get one of those mini crock pots, fill it with wax, and dip away. It's not squealing yet, so I'm putting that off for now. The bridge is awful. You literally cannot change one string at a time. If you break a string onstage you are screwed because of the design of this particular wraparound bridge. It also tends to pitch forward on the post. I'm not sure the acrylic is strong enough to keep the posts in place and maintain their integrity. AND... you cannot make bridge or string adjustments with the guitar tuned to pitch. The string tension just locks everything in place. So that is a lot of negatives. But for the price it's a very cool guitar. If you want playability out of the box, spend more money. Once I got this somewhat dialed in (I'm not done yet) it's a blast. Overall, a great value in the 250 dollar range, IF you are willing to put some time into it.Read full review

I'm writing this review about 10 months after I bought one of these. It's a fun guitar that's great looking. I swapped the pickup and had some fretwork done on it and it was playing pretty great. I had to shim the neck to get the action really low. However, over the last few months the neck developed a really bad twist and I can't add enough relief to fix it. The neck pocket is non-standard so getting some kind of Warmoth or other brand replacement is out. The seller has been nice but not helpful, and I'm left with an unplayable guitar.

Love the guitar. The only issue I have is that it arrived with two chips in the neck by the nut. Not a deal breaker but would have appreciated a completely clean neck since I was purchasing it new. The tuner pegs aren’t very good but I expected to modify that so that’s okay

I was blown away at how close this is to the original… I think the tuners might need to be replaced because they are a little bit light, but I like it a lot, the Lucite body is amazing 🤩
