I use this book as a guide to tell me what is a good buy. Surprised the odd ball cards haven't moved in price for quite a while.

The guide is so big now, but strangely, very limited the total number of types and years of cards that it documents. Of course, times have changed. There are just so many different cards now...it just adds up. I guess if the Guide was complete and easy to use, it would be 3000 pages and 6 inches thick. Even with the cards documented, the guide is bulky. The guide has micro-small print... The card types are VERY difficult to find, if they are even listed. The Table of Contents is useless. Even a seasoned collector would search and search for a card, and still not find it, be left wondering if his card was even in the Guide, which likely it is not. In short...for the typical user...the Guide is useless. Don't waste your money. You'll be sorry if you buy it.

Very good reference book, however there are far too many brands not included. For example, there is no pricing for any Leaf, Pacific, or Pinnacle products at all. Also, having a representative picture of a card in each set would be handy at the head of each listing, especially for many of the older cards which don't say anywhere on them what year they are. All in all, very good, but not as good as the Beckett Almanac.

It's a good product, but I thought it would also include prices for wax and foil cases, boxes and packs.

Did not find all the cards that I have . A picture for what you are looking for would help. But did find a good part of what I was looking for
